Science Olympiad is a team event in which students compete in 23 events pertaining to various scientific disciplines, including earth science, biology, chemistry, physics, and engineering. Students practice outside of the school day throughout the school year to prepare for the competition.  Fifteen students will be selected to compete at the regional Science Olympiad event at California University of PA on March 4, 2020, though all team members may attend the event. At regionals, the student team may qualify to participate in the state competition held at Juniata College.  

All interested middle school students and their parents are invited to attend the Science Olympiad Information Session on Monday, October 14th from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm in the Middle School Community Room. This session will provide detailed information about the Science Olympiad competition, sign-ups for events, as well as volunteer opportunities. If you are interested but unable to attend the Information Meeting, please contact [email protected]
