Online Learning November 30 - December 11
In an effort to slow the spread of COVID-19 after Thanksgiving, the District will move to online classes from November 30 through December 11, 2020, for all students in grades K-12. We plan to return to our current hybrid learning models on Monday, December 14. more information
From November 30 - December 11, all students in grades K-12 will have online instruction. Whether they were attending on-campus or online, students will follow this schedule from November 30 through December 11.

Quaker Valley Online Academy (QVOA)
The District plans to move to the second trimester as scheduled on December 8, 2020. If your student is transferring to QVOA in Trimester 2, Mrs. Abigail Bator will contact you regarding the transition.
Edgeworth and Osborne Elementary Schools
- Teachers will post specific classroom schedules and Zoom links to students' Schoology Homeroom Courses
- Current on-campus students will follow an online schedule that is very similar to their existing on-campus school schedule.
- Current online students will continue to follow their existing schedules.
- Most of the elementary days will be synchronous on Zoom, including the following classes: Homeroom, Language Arts, Mathematics, and Science/Social Studies.
- There will be breaks during the school day and options for special area classes. Students are not required to be on Zoom during the following times of the online school day: special classes (art, music, gym, library, computer), lunch, recess, brain breaks.
- On rare occasion, if your child's teacher is not available to teach due to illness, the teacher will post an "out of office message," and asynchronous lessons will be posted in Schoology similar to the current Wednesday learning activities.
Quaker Valley Middle School
- Live Zoom instruction will occur on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday as Wednesday will become an asynchronous day. Students will continue to follow the same bell schedule as they have on synchronous online days.
- The fully remote students who currently engage in asynchronous instruction on Thursdays and Fridays will now participate in live instruction (beginning December 3 and 4) and will follow this schedule for the entirety of trimester 2.
- All students in grades 6-8 will participate in live synchronous instruction via Zoom on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays.
- All students in grades 6-8 will complete asynchronous lessons on Wednesdays.
- The transition to the second trimester will begin as planned on December 8.
- On rare occasion, if your child's teacher is not available to teach due to illness, the teacher will post an "out of office message," and asynchronous lessons will be posted in Schoology.
Quaker Valley High School
- Live Zoom instruction will occur on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday as Wednesday will become an asynchronous day. Students will continue to follow the same bell schedule as they have on synchronous online days.

- Parkway West Career and Technical Center is moving to a completely online model for all students beginning on Monday, November 23, 2020. QVHS Parkway students should follow the Parkway schedule for those classes in the morning and the Monday - Wednesday Synchronous Zoom bell schedule for all afternoon QVHS classes on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday during the two-week closure.
- At present, Project Succeed students will continue with their in-person classes off-campus. The District will provide transportation as usual. We will alert students and families if that changes.
- The second trimester begins on Tuesday, December 8. All QVHS students will transition to their T2 classes on that day. Students will access the T2 Zoom links via their teachers' Schoology pages.
