On Wednesday, April 17, Abby Pittinaro, The Children's Institute's Annual Giving and Community Outreach Coordinator, visited Edgeworth Elementary to collect the Laps for Love donations for The Children's Institute's Care Fund. This fund provides medical treatments and equipment for children and families who may not otherwise be able to cover the cost of these services. This year, Edgeworth's first grade students raised $4,704.00 in donations. Over the 26-year span of this service-learning project, Quaker Valley has raised $90,330 to help support our Amazing Friends at The Children's Institute!
