Two Quaker Valley teams, representing Edgeworth and Osborne Elementary Schools, competed in the Science Bowl held at the Carnegie Museum of Natural History on Wednesday, January 29, 2020. Quaker Valley students completed preliminary in-class competitions to qualify to attend the Science Bowl. The teams that represented QV were:
Edgeworth Elementary fifth graders: Madeline Horton, Milo Taylor-Martin, Maggie Watson, and Ruth Whitacre
Osborne Elementary fifth graders: Rachel Bartels, Fiona Mikita, Kennedy Waffensmith, and EJ Williams
Each team completed three different challenges including National Geographic Wildlife Photographs, Dinosaurs in their Time, as well as Furs, Feathers, and Scales.
