U.S. News & World Report released their annual Best High School rankings for 2021, and Quaker Valley is ranked 9th in the Pittsburgh region and 28th in the state.
The rankings look at college readiness, math and reading proficiency and performance, underserved student performance, college curriculum, and graduation rates.
"Congratulations to the students and teachers of Quaker Valley for this fantastic recognition. Our teachers demonstrate instructional expertise, creativity, and innovation in their classrooms. Making learning engaging and relevant for students allows our students to be well prepared for life after Quaker Valley," says Superintendent of Schools Tammy A. Andreyko. "We are so proud of the work that happens every day in our schools. This ranking is an outstanding achievement. It takes the efforts of staff, teachers, board members, administration, community members, and students to make all of this possible."
Quaker Valley High School ranks 97th out of the best STEM high schools in the U.S. STEM rankings are based on the students' participation and success rates in AP science and math tests.
