Dear Quaker Valley Families and Community Members-
The Quaker Valley School District has worked diligently over the past several years to design and build a new high school that will last the next 100 years. At the Leet Township Planning Commission meeting held on Thursday, August 22, the Commission recommended that the District’s Preliminary and Final Site Plan for the high school project be approved.
The recommendation is conditioned on the District’s continued compliance with applicable laws, regulations, requirements and ordinances as the project moves forward. We appreciate the diligent work of the Leet Township Planning Commission and look forward to meeting with the Board of Commissioners.
We are pleased to have received this positive recommendation from the Commission. We are committed to meeting the highest standards in design and engineering and creating an exceptional learning environment for our students and staff.
Our project partners, including architects and engineers, have worked tirelessly to plan with accuracy and attention to detail. Their dedication has not only focused on compliance with the requirements of local ordinances but also on creating a facility that will stand the test of time. This careful and collaborative effort will result in a facility that upholds the highest standards of safety and excellence in land development.
The Planning Commission's recommendation will be forwarded to the Leet Township Board of Commissioners. They will have the opportunity to review the submitted plans and documents to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements before conducting a final vote on the plan.
The District will continue to provide updates to the community as the project progresses. For more information, please visit our website www.qvsd.org/blueprintqv or contact the Quaker Valley School District Office. We believe that it is time for this project to move ahead for our students and staff.
Thank you for your ongoing support.
Very truly yours,
Tammy A. Andreyko, Ed.D.
