Quaker Valley School District hosted the 2024 Quaker Valley Sports Hall of Fame (QVSHOF) weekend, a celebration dedicated to honoring the accomplishments and legacy of the district's most distinguished athletes, coaches, and contributors. The induction ceremony and celebratory events will took place on Friday, October 25 and Sunday, October 27, including recognition of new inductees at the home football game and a brunch to honor Quaker Valley’s storied sports history and accomplished athletes.
Football Game Recognition
On Friday, October 25, 2024, inductees were recognized at the Quaker Valley Varsity Football game versus McGuffey during a ceremony between the first and second quarters at Chuck Knox Stadium. This special presentation allowed the Quaker Valley community to celebrate the accomplishments of this year’s Hall of Fame class. They were also able to gather prior to the game with past inductees, guests, and administration for a tailgate.
Induction Ceremony
The Hall of Fame brunch took place on Sunday, October 27, 2024 at the Sewickley Heights Golf Club, where friends, family, and community members were invited to celebrate the 2024 inductees. Mr. Ken Johns of the QVSHOF Board hosted the event, regaling attendees with stories about each inductee as they were presented with their awards and given the opportunity to speak.

This year’s inductees to the Quaker Valley Sports Hall of Fame represent a diverse group of athletes, coaches, and influential contributors who have left a profound mark on Quaker Valley athletics.

- Spencer Caravaggio Granger – 2013 Graduate – Girls Tennis
- Dr. Rick Ruperto – 1992 Graduate – Football, Basketball, Track
- Bobby Farrington – 1982 Graduate – Basketball, Track
- Mr. Willie Jordan – 1985 Graduate – Football, Basketball
- Christi Hays – QV Tennis Coach
- 1968 QV Football Team
- 2002 QV Girls Track and Field Team
Each inductee has been chosen for their outstanding athletic achievements, sportsmanship, and dedication, setting a benchmark for excellence within the Quaker Valley School District and inspiring future generations.
