Quaker Valley Fills Fourth Officer Position within Police Department

Quaker Valley School District welcomes Officer Glen Sovich as the newest member of the Quaker Valley School District Police. The Quaker Valley School Board unanimously approved his appointment on Monday, February 10, 2025.

Officer Sovich joins Quaker Valley after serving as an officer with the Ambridge Police Department for 27 years and the Catholic Diocese of Pittsburgh. Sovich also served numerous years as a school resource officer in the Ambridge School District.

In 2024, he was recognized with the Guy “Tippy” Tyler Juvenile Justice Award from the Beaver County District Attorney’s office. This award is given to officers who display exemplary work and outstanding achievement in the area of juvenile justice and education.

Officer Sovich will focus his time at Quaker Valley Middle School.
