Based on the Oscar-winning DreamWorks Animation film, "Shrek The Musical" is a Tony Award-winning fairy tale adventure, featuring all new songs from Jeanine Tesori (Thoroughly Modern Millie; Caroline, or Change) and a sidesplitting book by David Lindsay-Abaire. Shrek brings all the beloved characters you know from the film to life on stage and proves there's more to the story than meets the ears.

Vocal Audition - Monday, October 22 @ 4:00 p.m. in the HS Choir Room
-Students are to prepare 32 bars or roughly one minute of a song of their choosing. Musical Theater songs are recommended, but not required. Students should prepare the excerpt as if they were going to sing it without any sort of accompaniment. An accompanist may be available if the student provides a copy of the sheet music at the time of the audition. Students are not permitted to sing a song from "Shrek The Musical". If a student cannot attend the after school audition, they must set up a time with Mr. Wolford prior to Wednesday, October 24 to have their audition recorded.

Dance Call - Wednesday, October 24 @ 3:15 p.m. in the HS Auditorium
-Students should wear comfortable clothing and sneakers, jazz shoes, or tennis shoes to the dance call. If a student has tap dancing experience they should also bring their tap shoes to the dance call. If a student has never tapped before they will not be required to do the tap portion of the dance call.
