Quaker Valley is happy to welcome Alexis Glenn as the new boys and girls varsity swimming coach. Glenn is a QVHS graduate and works as an access teacher at Edgeworth Elementary School. Born and raised in Sewickley, she started her swimming career at the age of six at the Sewickley Valley YMCA. Glenn swam at QVHS and Washington and Jefferson College, where she served as captain of the team her junior and senior years. Glenn has a degree in child development and education with an emphasis on special education.
Kristin Semones joins QV as the new girls lacrosse coach. A graduate of Virginia Tech, Semones played lacrosse during her four years in Blacksburg. She played defender for the NCAA Division I team and was an All-ACC Academic team member. Semones holds dual Bachelor of Science degrees in business information technology and resource management/marketing. She works at Dick's Sporting Goods Corporate Office in IT Audit.
