Students and families at Edgeworth Elementary School raised $400 to benefit Hero Hall, a special lounge offering a comfortable place for veterans and their families while in or visiting the VA Hospital of Pittsburgh. Students were asked to earn one dollar by doing an extra chore at home during the "Dollar for their Duty" campaign. The donation will be used to buy games, movies, furniture, books and other items to make Hero Hall a warm and inviting place of healing. We are proud to honor the brave men and women who have served our country with this donation in their honor.
