Mike Lewis

Mr. Mike Lewis was appointed as Edgeworth Elementary Principal in January 2024. He joined Quaker Valley in 2019 as the Director of Student Services after serving as Director of Curriculum at the Beaver Valley Intermediate Unit 27. In addition to his role at the IU, Lewis has also served in several roles at South Side Area School District including: elementary principal, director of special education, and assistant superintendent.  His career started in New Brighton School District where he worked as a paraprofessional and 2nd grade teacher before becoming a special education teacher.

Lewis earned a Bachelor’s Degree in elementary education and special education from Slippery Rock University, a Master’s Degree in education, and K-12 Principals Certification from the University of Pittsburgh, and a Superintendent’s Letter of Eligibility from California University of Pennsylvania.
