Scott Orelli

Scott Orelli is the high school assistant principal. He joined Quaker Valley with a wealth of experience, most recently serving as the Science Department Content Facilitator at Peters Township School District. While at Peters Township, he taught AP Environmental Science, Academic Physics, Academic and Honors Chemistry and delivered professional development. In conjunction with his work at Peters Township, Orelli also served on several boards and leadership positions within IU1, including the Southwest Cohort of Pennsylvania Science Education Leadership (PennSEL) Network to facilitate rollout of STEELS standards statewide.

 

In addition to his experience teaching in a public school setting, Orelli also serves as a Summer Program Instructor and Mentor through The Readiness Institute at Penn State. While in that role, Orelli mentored diverse student groups from 22 high school across Allegheny County in order to help all learners achieve future readiness.
