Dr. Anthony Mooney
Dr. Anthony Mooney has served as the principal of Quaker Valley Middle School since 2015. In 2019, Dr. Mooney was named Pennsylvania Principal of the Year. He attended the University of Pittsburgh where he earned a bachelor’s degree in History, a master’s degree in Education, a doctoral degree in Educational Leadership, certifications in teaching, school principalship, and a Superintendent's Letter of Eligibility. Prior to joining Quaker Valley, Dr. Mooney served as the middle school principal within the Blackhawk School District. His teaching experience includes U.S. History, Macro and Micro Economics, Ancient World History, African-American History, and General Law.
